Is science a tool of ‘Western oppression’? Should we trust everyone who claims victimhood? And how many genders are there? The ‘Woke’ debate raises questions that have a potential to divide people. This phenomenon also affects skeptical organizations. For this article, I took a deep look at the current crisis in the German Society for the Scientific Investigation of Pseudosciences and analyzed the implications for skeptics around the globe.
